    In search of my origin

Sunday, February 19, 2006, 11:27 AM CST [General]

I believe that all at some time have had curiosity to know the origin of our last names and to know the history of our ancestors.

I am also convinced that in most of the cases the knowledge that we have of our family goes back at most to the time of our "tatarabuelos".

Before INTERNET existed I believed that the last name Frausto was in extinction because the only Frausto that knew was alone my near relatives: Father, Uncles, Siblings, Nephews and others that were born in U.S.A. and as the new generations that I know, we have engendered more girls than boys, that reaffirmed my belief.

If you are Frausto or you know something about the origin of this last name, please publish it in this page.

    José C. Frausto Almaguer

    Nobility

Sunday, February 19, 2006, 11:19 AM CST [General]

He asked in an occasion the Squire to the Gentleman: Tell me my Master What is the nobility?

To that the Gentleman after long minutes of silence, trying to meditate an answer said: My dear friend; the nobility is a way of being that it rides next to its owner during a lifetime, it is not nobler that that possesses a Title. Neither neither it is it that that descends of Wealthy Families. The noble man, it should demonstrate that it is it in all the acts of their daily life. Being courteous and kind as much with Maidens as with Males. With rich and with poor. Giving their company when it is necessary, so much to sick as to people of good health. Serving Kings and Plebeians equally.

The Squire interrupted to his Master: Then my Master, reason taking weapons?, reason to go to tribunals of justice?, reason to compete to have more than the neighbor?...

My faithful Squire. They are many questions for a humble servant. What can I know mainly this, when the inventors of the world and the civilization don't know it? In spite of it, I will try to answer in the way in that I understand all this: The weapons, if they are used of sword against sword, it is noble fight. The justice, if it is used wisely and without deceiving tricks, it is a noble justice. As for competing to have more than the neighbor, is the punishment that God imposed the men to cure its avarice. The greedy man, kneads fortunes using gun against sword; he/she deceives in the tribunals of justice to conquer their opponents. He/she is the enemy of the nobility.

Then my Master, is it nobler the poor person that the rich one?... is ..No as well as have I wanted to explain to it, my dear friend. If you accumulate wealth in exchange for your work, without requesting more than what your work is worth in fact, you will be Rich Man and Nobleman. If besides this, your wealth know how to share them, you will be a Rich, Generous and Noble Man, but if truly you want to know what the Nobility is, I will tell you that who acts under the approaches of its heart; the acts in their life don't perturb their dreams, and for where he/she wants that it happens he/she finds many friends and few enemies, that person is a NOBLE person!.

The Squire then kept silent good while. Thinking in all that its Master had told him. Finally the Squire said to his Master: My Master, Vos is the noblest person that I know. I want to be as Vos.
