Algunos Vendedores o Compradores mal intencionados buscan la manera de estafar utilizando sitios de venta por Internet.
Ponga atención a lo siguiente:
- Algunos estafadores, envían cheques sin fondo. Los ciber-estafadores operan de la siguiente manera: el presunto comprador le envía al vendedor un cheque (generalmente de un valor superior al precio acordado), y le solicita al vendedor le envie el producto y le devuelva la diferencia por Western Union. el vendedor puede depositar sin problema pero días después el Banco le rechaza el cheque por falta de fondos. el vendedor pierde el artículo y el dinero que envió por la diferencia.
- Si usted es el comprador no transfiera el dinero sin antes haber comprobado la seriedad del vendedor, en la medida de lo posible.
- Tome todas las precauciones posibles al enviar dinero a alguien que no conoce.
- Cuidado con los vendedores que se encuentran en el extranjero, de los cuales usted solo conoce su correo electrónico.
- Ponga atención cuando compre artículos caros, como teléfonos celulares, laptos, TV, etc.
Si es posible, conozca al vendedor en persona y solicítele una identificación (en un lugar público de preferencia). Usted puede realizar una denuncia cuando ha sido víctima de una estafa cibernética. No sirve de nada realizar una denuncia si solamente ha recibido un correo fraudulento, este tipo de correos circulan en grandes cantidades todos los días. Le recomiendo hacer la denuncia solamente cuando le haya sucedido.
